One element of my work that I really enjoy is facilitating poetry and creative writing workshops, and I’m always looking for more opportunities to do so!

I’ve recently visited academic institutions such as Villanova University, USA, the University of Notre Dame at Kylemore Abbey, Ireland and the Universität Stuttgart, Germany. I met with students to share insights into key themes in my wider creative practice and introduce them to new concepts and ideas such as Self-Portrait Poems or Extra-Sensory Storytelling Skills.

I also love working with community groups, and with festivals! I’ve recently worked with Belfast Book Festival, Northern Ireland Science Festival, Creative Comforts at Inkwell, Donegal Town and this year I’m looking forward to working with the Northern Ireland Mental Health Arts Festival.

I particularly enjoy devising workshops which use my 3D-printed braille fragments and tactile resources. I have previously facilitated these workshops for blind, visually impaired and sighted people.
